We will read these stories as a class community, to explore culture, identity, community, and so much more! We know that books are used best when they serve as windows and mirrors for students. Windows to see the varied experiences of people and places around the world, and mirrors to reflect the beauty in each individual person! These books will be added to my classroom library to ensure students have access to excellent, diverse texts and topics. These selected texts will ensure I have what I need to lead meaningful conversations with our young learners.
