In our class we have spent the past month developing our reading identity by familiarizing ourselves with books from different genres and books that connect to our own personal interests. We have been doing in-depth studies by examining our peers' own personal preferences through interviews in order to pick out the perfect book for them to read. While completing this study, we noticed our classroom library is in need of an upgrade. We are hoping to fill our library with engaging books that foster the interest of each student in our class. We brainstormed a list of books and topics that we would like to see in our library. Students are anxiously waiting and looking forward to diving into a book that matches their own personal needs.
