My students love playing board games and card games during classroom lessons and group sessions. They also provide a wonderful avenue for them to practice emotion management, cooperative learning and turn-taking skills. Sadly, the games and activities that I have had in my classroom are beginning to show wear and tear, as well as missing parts! These board games and card games will refresh the indoor recess options in my classroom. My students need ways to practice social skills through games like Uno, Guess Who, Jenga, Hasbro, Operation, Pictionary, Connect Four, and Sorry to help prepare them for group work in school and the workplace. What better way to practice getting along and working cooperatively than through fun games.
