Kindergarten is a child's first experience with formal education. Since this primary year provides a foundation for success in the grades that follow, it is very important that a child is in a good kindergarten class that is filled with learning manipulatives and centers. As a first year kindergarten teacher, I am unable to supply these individual manipulatives and centers to my students on my own. It is especially important for every student to have their own literacy and math manipulative during this pandemic. I want my students to be able to thrive. By having these manipulatives, centers, and resources, I will be able to enrich my teaching to ensure the best possibility of having my students thrive in kindergarten.
