This project will help me make reading ENJOYABLE. Reading at a desk or table feels like a chore; this will give students the chance to read in an environment where they don’t have to feel like it’s homework. The goal is to allow them to have the opportunity to read in a relaxed environment. When they do this, they can tie positive memories to the act of reading a book, instead of thinking of it as busywork or something their teacher is making them do to pass a class. The reading area will go in the BACK of the classroom where the tables currently are. Decor to follow! Help me boost literacy!

About my class
