Our student population draws from a diverse socioeconomic environment, making a one size fits all physical education program inaccessible to some students. Through the use of technology we can provide more varied instructional strategies to reach those students for whom a traditional curriculum does not work. A TV and TV cart allow the students not only to access video instruction for an individualized program as well as enable them to research the biomechanics of physical movement and nutrition. Furthermore, the students will be able to use the technology to share and present their learning with each other in innovative ways. In these ways, all students will be able to form personal health and wellness plans that meet their individual needs and set an excellent foundation for their futures.
