These materials will make learning not only fun for students but also teaching and reinforcing vocabulary, Phonics, fluency as well as their writing skills in independent centers while I am teaching an explicit small group. I am new to third grade, before I taught kindergarten for 17 years. I will use these to make learning in the classroom fun. Students are coming back full time this school year and will need lots of extra support. I will also use these items to foster and encourage students to be lifelong learners as well as working together. Some of the activities that I chose are great for teaching the students cooperation.
