These materials will be used in class during center time. They are not only great manipulatives, but they are also academically stimulating and fun. Our students will have to engage in playtime activities at their own tables and these tools will make them feel like they're having fun in spite of being limited in what they can do with COVID-19 protocols in place. A quote from "The Playful Classroom" by Jed Dearybuy and Julie Jones sums up the necessity of play nicely - learning must be meaningful, learning must be relevant and learning must be fun. Our children will benefit from these tools and toys in so many ways. Thank you for considering our classroom.
