The Coffee Cart Friday project would provide my students the opportunity to practice many life skills such as following a recipe, sequencing steps in an activity, fulfilling an order, appropriate social skills, sharing, peer-peer work, teamwork, responsibility, basic number recognition, reading and comprehension, health and hygiene, confidence booster, money skills and so much more! Money skills are often hard skills for a lot of students to grasp, and I feel like this opportunity would really support that gap. I feel like it will be a positive learning tool for everyone involved!
