"Students that have all their supplies in their classroom perform better". The third grade is always very challenging for my kiddos for they will be learning new skills and getting ready to take the FSA's for the first time. What better way of doing this than starting with everything they need to be successful? They will also start more formal writing, so they can grow their literacy skills, these notebooks are perfect for engaging them!! The word families card system will be used for the kiddos who are still struggling with reading skills so they can grow confidence and get to succeed in reading as well as feel more independent as readers!!! My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word while giving them peace of mind, they will have everything they need to be successful.
