These math games, puzzles and graphic organizers will help students play at math, helping them to see math as puzzles and patterns while diminishing math anxiety. Students will be tricked into stretching and reinforcing their math logic, reasoning and facts, to support numeracy and problem solving skills. Our classroom will be transformed into an indoor "math parlor-playground" where are focus is on the collaborative joy of gaming together in a risk free, structured yet playful, focussed math environment. As our math inventory expands through the year; students will be allowed to sign games out for home-family use.
