I am a first-year 2nd grade teacher and I am currently building my classroom library. I want my students to have books at their fingertips that they can borrow and take home with them. I want to create a classroom space where students interact with books daily so they can become avid readers, if they aren't already. With more books, students have more access. With more access, students have more choice in what they envision for their lives. Books are a gateway into learning what one can do in life!
