We are a school that serves low-income families. 90-100% of our students receive free of reduced lunch. For many of my students this will be their very first experience in a classroom setting. My goal is to make learning and school a fun experience for them. The materials I am asking for will support my students as they learn their letters, sounds, and sight words. They will utilize the letters to match uppercase and lowercase, get hands-on experience as they build sight words and CVC words throughout out lessons. Having these letters made available to each of my students will take them beyond simply writing letters and words to providing them with the experience of actually manipulating 3D letters.
