My students are incredible, but not all of them are able to come to school with the necessary materials in order to be successful. Anchor charts, markers, pencils, and Kleenex are some of the necessities my students need! The students love anchor charts and the color they bring to the classroom. They are also more likely to comprehend more deeply and remember more of what they learn. Students refer to them throughout the unit and use them as they think about the topic, question ideas, expand ideas, and/or contribute to discussions in class.
