As the youngest learners, they need ways to express and work through various sensory and emotional needs. Flexible seating options, specifically wiggle stools will provide them the opportunity to gently and discretely rock in their chair while increasing attention and focus. The seating options will aid students who benefit from movement to focus and learn. Active sitting promotes movement while seated which helps to increase concentration, promote better posture, reinforce core muscles, and improve sensory focus. As Pre-K students learn the academic aspects of school, it is imperative they begin to learn how to self-regulate and take ownership of their own well-being and learning. Flexible seating options will allow them to make more effective learning choices.
