Mental health is physical health. I want my students to be in an environment where they not only learn about academics, but also understand their emotions matter in my classroom. I want my students to be able to discreetly tell me their problems by using a classroom mailbox and also teach them the importance of journaling. Organization is a forgotten key to great mental health. I want to be more organized this school year, so I can be more focused on other priorities within my classroom. My students should see a great example from their teacher first then follow my lead example.
