These items will make a big difference in students learning because often math is taught from an abstract way of thinking and with visuals that often are not enough for students to grasp a concept of. Many and most of my students are tactile learners and the use of math manipulatives will help students make sense and take control of their own reasoning. The end goal is that my students become better problem solvers, and even if they do not plan to pursue a career in math, students can walk away with critical thinking skills
