This project will engage my students in a variety of experiences that will motivate and inspire them to prioritize their mental health, as well as helping to raise awareness. While there is a place for classic literature in the classroom, these novels allow us to bring in texts that students can see themselves represented within. The selected games will allow us to strengthen student voices so that they can raise awareness about the importance of teen mental health and well-being. Students will be empowered to ask questions in a space where they feel valued and inspired by the topics and conversations evoked in this experience!
