We will take an in-depth look at these novels by reading the books in class and at home and by completing a novel study about the book. I will incorporate art projects so the students can share their creativity and insight of the novel. The novels will highlight some of history's greatest stories or will give students the chance to dive into their imagination as they place themselves into the stories. I will be able to teach my students the foundations of reading as well as teach them important concepts such as point of view and author's purpose.
