Our Ulu Mau classroom is in a former storage room with cinder block walls and no windows. The air purifier (in addition to our mask wearing) will help keep us healthy while we grow together in our learning and reading skills. The students' word books are old and falling apart, so I would like to tear out the pages, put them in plastic sleeves and binders in order to help them last longer and be easier to clean between uses. It will look nicer, too, and be something they want to hold in their hands! Also, I wanted to have enough letter tiles in order for each student to have their own set for learning and manipulating.
