Currently, we have these small cushions in our calm/safe corner where we have breathing techniques and pictures of emotions, but these are very old and not very comfortable. I would love to replace those cushions with a small couch that way our students feel at home in the classroom. My biggest goal is that my students will have the skills to be able to effectively manage their emotions before leaving my classroom. I want to make sure that they are able to execute those skills outside of the classroom to achieve success later in life.
