With a cozy place to sit, on the phonics rug, my students will be able to be up close to explicit phonics lessons shared on the portable whiteboard easel. They will also be able to interact in the lessons using the a, b, c bean bags to show that they are grasping the concepts being taught. Phonics lessons in my classroom will be fun and interactive so that students will be able to practice every day using the skills they are taught to encode, spell and decode, read, phonemes and then words.
