For many years, my students have taken Cornell notes, some enjoy it but many students struggle with the process. This summer, I came across Doodle notes. Doodle notes is a note-taking method that incorporates visual learning (diagrams, pictures, etc.), maximizing student retention, and getting their brains activated and focused. Recently, I paid $60 to join the Doodle note club that comes with templates to create my own Doodle notes along with training videos. However, as I came across the Teachers pay Teachers site, I noticed many teachers share the same pedagogical philosophy and have created interactive Doodle notes that my Biology and Chemistry students would benefit from.
