A mud kitchen for outdoor use will give our students the opportunity to explore with their senses and use their imagination, in a safe, outdoor space. After a year of quarantine, our students deserve to be outside playing and having fun! This type of play space also provides endless opportunities for learning, in a safer way. Mixing, combing and exploring materials provides for scientific exploration. Measuring, pouring and emptying works on mathematics. Exploring different materials and describing them expands language. So many opportunities for learning through play await in the mud kitchen!

About my class
