We are hoping for a classroom set of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief for a novel study. My students have shown an interest in Greek mythology and this novel is a great way to introduce them to the gods and goddesses of Olympus. We will read this novel as a class, independently and in small groups. There are so many great activities that coincide with this novel, but is also a point of interest for my students (double bonus!). Not only will this classroom set be used this year, but for years to come.
