These items will be used to promote responsibility, kindness, integrity, team work, effort, and effective communication. The purpose of the Positive Behavior Support is to promote the values and desired learner outcomes. For example, if I see that there is a large group of students who are not doing their homework, then I can use the incentives to get them to complete their task. One way to do that is to put the names of students who completed their work in a hat and draw names of the winners. Some children need to see that there are tangible and immediate rewards for doing a task. The rewards need to be something that they like. Healthy snacks or novel items are always good incentives for students.
