For my project I am requesting books by and about black, Latinx, Asian, Asian American, and LGBTQ people. Our school has a very diverse student body and I would love to provide a library that reflects diversity so they can learn from and be inspired by people from those communities. I will also make a class list of books and check them out to students so they can take them home to read and develop their literacy outside of class. I am also requesting a printer and toner as my school does not provide individual printers for teachers. Having a printer in class will help my students print out their own work and have quick access to assignments that I might need to provide for them.
