Incentives will be helpful for students to stay motivated in their classrooms. My students can use them for self-calming, use them as a distractor from becoming overwhelmed. Time for breaks and self-regulating are important. They help them build positive relationships with adults and other peers in their classes. It will help bring back the social aspect from being on distance learning the last school year. Hopefully, they will get used to others again. Many students have not been in school for over a year. This will be an adjustment for staff as well.
