Feeling safe and comfortable is the key to help student success. I want my classroom environment to be so warm and welcoming that no matter who enters, they feel safe. Feeing safe is the first step to learning. Once a child feels safe and comfortable, it automatically increases their confidence levels. Having a warm-inviting classroom will promote healthy relationships, individualized learning, and growth with social emotional learning. Not every student has a place to call "home" or even feels safe going home. My goal is to make it easy for students to learnin an environment that they feel safe in.
