These yoga mats and sensory tools will make a difference in our children's learning by creating a safe learning environment. Headphones will teach our children coping mechanisms that they can take home and do with their families. They will learn mindfulness that can help them in school and at home. My students are noticeably more engaged in learning when they feel safe and know that they have a place to go calm down if they are having a rough day. I want to ensure my students are learning social emotional skills that can help them through life.

About my class
