I used Lexia at a previous school I taught at as a station activity during guided learning. Not only did it personalize instruction, but. it was engaging and fun for the kids. It also identifies areas which the student may be struggling and gives lesson ideas and extensions based on what the needs of the student are. I plan to utilize Lexia in the classroom for each student because it personalizes and differentiates instruction for each student based on where that student is. It helps with reading and phonological awareness, and addresses areas which the student may be weak in. It can be utilized for students who need intervention as well as students that need extension.
