These materials will make a difference to studentsʻ learning by introducing them to positive and inspiring music while participating in team building games that are meant to support one another and improve self-esteem. Since many students shared about their struggles with anxiety and depression during the pandemic, I felt that it was important to surround them with positivity. Playing cooperative games using basketballs, a Totem card game focusing on personal strengths and qualities, and a run mat that requires team effort are skills that will be developed for healing and growth.
