This special rug with empowering messages will be the center of my classroom. It will be a place in which students spend a good portion of their learning. I would like this space to be inviting and comfortable. Some examples of how this will be used will include: morning meeting time, whole group book read aloud, and independent work time. During independent work time, students may use the carpet area to collaborate on an assignment or play learning games as well as use it to lay down and get into a good book.
