At an age where students are exploring who they are as individuals and how they fit into society, a flexible seating area gives students a sense of comfort and community. Being excited about their learning environment arms them with confidence to tackle challenging problems while fostering the independence to make smart choices. Allowing students to have a choice in creating their optimal learning environment will elevate engagement and push the limits on critical thinking.
