With these new materials, my students will walk into a warm and welcoming classroom that supports their individual learning styles. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Rugs and lighting will help our room feel warm and welcoming, allowing students to feel safe and focussed on learning. Fidget toys are not only awesome for incentives, but make a noticeable difference in the focus of the more distracted students. Seat sacks will allow my students to store their materials at their desk so we can stay socially distanced during class time. These materials will allow my diverse group of students to learn and grow in a way that fits them best while staying safe.
