Last year, due to the pandemic, we had many students learning from home and there was a large gap in their learning. This year, being back in the classroom, I want to provide a program with hands-on learning through student learning centers, and small group teaching that is so vital at this young developmental age. By being able to purchase the Reagan Turnstall Kindergarten Guided Math program components from the website "Teachers Pay Teachers", an all-inclusive math program, students will learn from whole group lessons with visuals, small groups lessons where we will work with manipulatives, and games for the students to learn and explore together. Having manipulative to use with their math centers helps the students synthesize their learning. As students work hands-on and collaborate together, in both Spanish and English, they will become strong learners in both their math skills, as well as their communication skills. I want to ensure all my students succeed, regardless of barriers. We are a community. Our class motto is, "Together, We Can!".
