The flexible seating options on my list will help restore my student's power and autonomy in the classroom. Flexible seating allows for students to choose their own seating choices that will help them be most successful in the classroom. That may be sitting on the floor on top of a yoga mat with a clipboard or sitting on a wobble cushion at their desk. Having outdoor equipment available during recess will help students be more focused in the classroom after enjoying active time outside with their peers. They currently do not have toys to play with during recess. The games I have requested on my list will be used to promote play and creativity in my classroom. My biggest goal is for students to really enjoy this year after the stress and unknowns that they faced during their previous school years due to the pandemic.
