Students will expand their knowledge from computer science to physical computing by using the requested products to code robots to do specific tasks. This will provide them the opportunity to work in teams and problem solve which are important components in computer science. The Hummingbird Bit Robotics Kit builds on the micro:bit processors that we have in class. The kit includes lights, sensors, and motors that allow the students to engineer and code their own robots. This reusable kit can be used to animate a poem, model the human arm, build an autonomous rover, or create a pinball machine. It is capable of teaching beginners and advanced learners to code.
