This listening center will provide my students with the opportunity to be independent learners while also engaging with their peers through literature. They can listen to the story together during independent reading time. After they listen to the story, they can have discussions about the story. This helps strengthen comprehension and builds relationships with their peers. My students are diverse learners. Most of my students are ESL. By utilizing the listening center my ESL students will be able to choose books that interest them. By providing my students with opportunities to read books that interest them will help my students to grow stronger in reading.

About my class
