Students deserve to feel welcome, at home, and comfortable in their classroom, especially after our challenging last few years. I would like to be able to offer my 6th graders flexible seating options so that, instead of sitting at their desks all class period, they'll have options to sit comfortably around the room while they do their monitored reading, small group, or independent work. My ultimate goal is to make my Language Arts classroom a home away from home for my students where they will always feel safe, secure, and supported. Flexible seating options will help me to achieve that goal!
