These materials will allow my students to be fully engaged in their education. Instead of worksheets, the children will be able to create, explore and learn using materials and manipulatives that inspire that love of learning that is so needed, especially after this last year of distance learning. We will use the math games to help children practice problem solving skills, turn-taking and other important social skills all while learning and practicing math facts. The art materials will allow my students to showcase their "writing" through a creation which will be shared in a group setting. This activity will provide students the opportunity to practice and refine skills such as public speaking, asking questions and feeling confident. The science materials will allow my students to deepen their knowledge about life cycles and hopefully create their love of learning!
