I am teaching an alternative opportunity learning classroom this school year. This Donor's Choose project is where I have chosen stem kits, magnetic puzzles, alternative seating, and other sensory exploration items. These supplies will help hook and support high yield instructional strategies required for the alternative learning environment. By providing these learning tools, my students will be give opportunities to explore different learning styles and challenge them to seek the unknown. Help me give our schools' most vulnerable students a chance to excel as we return from distance learning. Not only will the supplies in this project engage my students, but will give me the opportunity to open up ideas for future careers. From breaking open geodes, to building structures from magnetic puzzles, hopefully this will inspire my students to become future scientists, engineers, architects, and teachers.
