It can sometimes be quite a task convincing young readers to do so for pleasure, especially when struggle is evident. Having both struggling and advanced readers paired with those who love it or not, I try to keep my selections endless. Regardless of multiple genres, titles, and style of books to keep their interest, I am not able to showcase too many of them at a time as space and organization are needed. These items will help my students have the opportunity to cozy up to a good book in the comfort of their very own reading nook, traveling to places unknown. My hopes are to take my readers (strugglers or otherwise) to places they have only dreamed about or perhaps seen on television, all within the magic of their fingertips . Many of them do not have access to this at home so with a bit of persuasion, a lot of practice, and a touch of fostering, I hope to change their attitudes about reading and begin lending books out, encouraging them to take them from the classroom into their homes. Once they are convinced that reading is a big deal, perhaps they'll take many journeys.
