I'm so excited to be in my very own classroom of second graders as a first-year teacher. Having all those little eyes on me, ready to learn, is a great feeling. Second graders need to make lots of small movements to help them focus on their work. Reading and writing are things that need to happen sitting down, but that can be difficult. With some flexible seating through wobble stools, I know my students will be able to work at their desks when needed. We'll keep dancing and exploring when we can!
