These felt pieces relating to fairy tales will allow my autistic students to better interact with stories by having a hands-on component to involve them in the story. This way, they have a concrete part of the story to manipulate as we read and talk about the story. The hands-on materials and letters for working with words will help all my students engage with letters and sounds! Having letters and pieces to the touch and move helps keep my students engaged and learning. These will be so helpful for our classroom and the students in our program!
