My students will have the opportunity to work in a 3-D medium, clay. They can manipulate the clay with their hands to create a form reflective of each student's thoughts and feelings. Additionally, they will experience the magic of each clay stage, from the plastic stage to the final glazed piece. I want my students to share and explain their final projects with an audience outside my classroom. We will use the high school's kiln to fire the student's work. Students' work will be fired twice. The first fire is the bisque fire, and one occurs after the glaze is applied.
