Using every day, easily found products that are affordable to families, my students will be working on weekly STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) challenges. These projects are engaging in our classroom and easily reproduced at home with siblings and parents for further experiences outside our classroom. STEAM challenges help my students showcase their ingenuity and help them learn to work cooperatively in many different environments. These are skills they will take with them throughout elementary school and eventually into the workforce, skills that are desired by employers more and more as the STEAM fields advance.

About my class
