The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! My students will explore gravity, force, and momentum with the Create-A-Chain-Reaction STEM kit. They can use challenge cards to build simple machines, or use their imagination to assemble the pieces to create chain reactions. With the success, or failure, of chain reactions they will employ the scientific method to adjust the design. The Design and Build Engineering Centers will help students learn that all structures have similar elements to provide stability. Students will learn why some structures are strong, and others will not. These centers will make learning fun for my students.
