I would love for children who are just learning how to read to be able to have a space to enjoy listening to stories with their friends. I would greatly like to have this listening center with headphones and the flex space learning center for a small group to be able to use and bring their story to life. Many of them come into school unable to read on their own. This will allow them to choose a story on their own and begin their love of reading. Developing a love of reading at such a young age is critical and will travel with the child throughout their life. I would like for this to become a self-guided student center that the children are able to use on a daily basis during my reading rotations.
