I am introducing a new course to these students that has not been offered at my school before. I am hoping to set a precedent that geography is fun and relevant to our everyday lives! I also am a huge proponent of a calm classroom, the decor and alternate seating will help students have choices and variety in the classroom space. I am very excited about the board games. They all relate to topics in our course, but will allow students to interact with the information before we enter into serious course materials to help students better connect and understand.
